The company was started in 1997
by Mary
as Skye Entertainment to produce her short film Harold
Darling! At the time, Mary was working
as a freelance producer writing, directing,
and editing TV commercials and marketing videos.
Back then we were strictly a film/video production house and
casting agency with access to a large network of crew and
talent. Over time and many projects later, we expanded
our services at the requests of clients to include everything
currently on the menu. We changed our name to Skye Creative
Group, inc. in 2001
to reflect the multi-disciplined agency we
have become.
We are still very much committed to our roots
in
independent cinema. Through Skye Entertainment, now a division
of SCGi, we continue to involve ourselves in the deve-
lopment and making of independent
features and shorts.
